How we handle your personal data

The short version: we collect only what you send us through the contact form, and the standard record every web server keeps. No cookies and no tracking. It stays in India, is deleted after a year, and you can see, correct or delete it whenever you ask.

This notice covers the website; for AurumOne, our payroll and HR service, read the AurumOne privacy policy.

Who is responsible

Aurum Enterprise Solutions (“Aurum”, “we”) runs aurumtech.in and decides how the personal data collected through it is used. We are based in Surat, Gujarat, India.

What we collect, and why

Your name, email address and message
Required by the contact form. We use them to read your inquiry and reply to it.
Your company name and phone number
Optional. Give them only if you would like us to use them when we reply.
The service you are interested in
So your inquiry reaches the right person.
When you wrote, and the network (IP) address it came from
Recorded with each inquiry, to stop abuse of the form and to investigate a security problem if there is one.
A standard record of each page request
Like every web server, ours logs the network address, time, page requested, referring page and browser type of each visit. We use it to keep the site secure and working, never to build a profile of anyone.

That is everything. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Its fonts, images and code all load from aurumtech.in itself, so no other company learns that you visited.

We use your details only to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your data, or use it to make any decision about you.

Why we may use it

You choose to send us these details so that we can reply, and we use them for nothing else. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows this as a use of personal data you have voluntarily provided for a specified purpose (section 7(a)). If you tell us you no longer want us to use them, we stop and delete them.

Web server records are kept because Indian law asks for them: the CERT-In directions of April 2022 require system logs to be kept in India for 180 days, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 will require a year.

Who else handles it

Amazon Web Services
Hosts this website and the record of inquiries, on a server in Mumbai, India.
SMTP2GO
Delivers each inquiry to our inbox as an email. It may process that email outside India.
GoDaddy
Hosts our mailbox, support@aurumtech.in, where the email is kept. It may store email outside India.
WhatsApp
If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) carries and stores that conversation under its own terms. The site shares nothing with WhatsApp: the link only opens the app.

They act for us, under their terms of service, and only to provide that service. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we share it with no one else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

The record of your inquiry on our server
One year from the day you sent it. It is then deleted automatically.
The email in our inbox
Deleted within a year of our last conversation with you. If you become a client, what we hold about you from then on is covered by our agreement with you.
Messages you send us on WhatsApp
Deleted within a year of our last conversation with you, the same as email.
Web server records
One year, then deleted automatically.
SMTP2GO’s delivery records
Kept by SMTP2GO for the limited period its service sets, then deleted by them.

How we protect it

  • Every page and every form submission travels over HTTPS. The site refuses unencrypted connections.
  • The service behind the form runs in a locked-down sandbox, can be reached only through the web server, and limits how often any one address can write.
  • The record of inquiries can be read only by that service and our administrator. Keys and passwords are kept on the server, never in our code.
  • Nothing on the site loads from another company, so no outside script ever sees what you type.

No one can honestly promise that a system will never be breached. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you without delay what happened and what you can do, and report it as the law requires.

Your rights, and how to use them

Write to support@aurumtech.in from the address you used in the form, so we can find your inquiry, and tell us what you would like:

  • A summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we do with it.
  • Corrections or updates to anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Deletion of your data, unless a law requires us to keep it longer.
  • That we stop using your details. One line from you is enough.
  • To name someone who can act for you if you die or become unable to act yourself.

We reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page, and the date at the top, before the change takes effect.
