Payroll & HRMS
Hours-based salary and overtime, calculated by rule
When pay depends on hours, payroll is only as good as the arithmetic between the attendance sheet and the payslip. AurumOne does that arithmetic by rule, the same way every month, and shows its working on every payslip.
From hours to pay
Each employee has a monthly base salary and a standard number of hours for the month. From those the system derives an hourly rate and a per-minute rate. Regular pay is the hours actually worked at that rate, and overtime is added at the multiplier you set.
Late arrivals and break violations can carry a penalty, paid holidays can be granted for the month, and deductions such as professional tax and ESIC are applied by rule rather than by memory.
- Overtime, overtime allowance and overtime bonus
- Advances and loans, recovered through payroll
- Vouchers, deposits and increments
- Bank-transfer and cash employees in the same run
Every payslip shows its working
The salary breakdown lists the base salary and rates, then the hours: total worked, required, regular, paid leave, paid holiday and overtime, with late days and break violations. Below that come earnings, deductions and the net payable amount.
When an employee asks why this month is lower, the answer is on the page, not in a formula only one person understands.
Review, recompute, lock
Payroll for the month stays open while attendance is still being corrected. Recompute after an adjustment, review department by department, then lock the month. A locked month keeps the values it was calculated with, even if a rule changes afterwards.
- Filter by department or payment method
- Export payslips to Excel
- Bank report generated for you

Questions
Common questions
We pay a monthly salary, not an hourly wage. Does this still fit?
Yes. The monthly salary and the standard hours for the month give an hourly and per-minute rate, so pay follows the hours actually worked, with overtime on top.
Can overtime be paid at a different rate?
Yes. Overtime is paid at a multiplier you set, and there are separate provisions for an overtime allowance and an overtime bonus.
How are advances and loans handled?
They are recorded against the employee and recovered through payroll. The amount recovered appears as its own line under deductions on the payslip.
